I stopped into the Pop Up Flea twice this past weekend. Was it to ogle the overpriced workwear both real and J.Crew? Nope. It was to try and score a business card from this guy. Sadly, I missed him but our overall conclusions about the event were the same. His response was so insightful that I won't sully it with a summary. You can read New England's best thrifter's detailed analysis here. Keep fighting the good fight Giuseppe.

It's refreshing to see y'all express this opinion. The prices are out of control for the products that they're selling and the won't get off this workwear/Americana trend. The people who wear this kind of stuff to do actual work would have a heart attack if they wandered into the pop up flea market. The pre-tied velvet bowties and tie with "F$#k You" on it courtesy of Mister Mort were incredibly tawdry. At least we have you and Giusseppe to keep things sane and classy.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Enzo. It is a shame we didn't cross paths.
If you like my business cards that much, email me. I'd be glad to send you a copy of the new "Affordable Wardrobe" press kit I'm thinking of putting together.
I couldn't agree more. The level of hypocrisy at the PUF was overwhelminging - and spurred, in no small part, by the people behind the counter - particularly in the back room!
