This is Digby probably in his fifties or sixties, about ten or twenty years before I met him. The tie, faintly askew never changed. His hair got whiter and his skin a bit craggier. Otherwise, he stayed exactly the same until the day he died. He was a most amazing gentleman. No professor ever made a bigger impact on me. I think of him fondly, daily.
